ECO Canada has developed a mentorship platform for professionals in the environmental and engineering sector to connect and engage with peers. Through the mentorship platform, female professionals will have the opportunity to participate in the traditional mentorship and/or peer-to-peer networking. This mentorship platform is part of a project that ECO Canada is working on, with financial support from Women and Gender Equality Canada, to develop resources to address systemic barriers for females to advance to leadership roles in the environmental and engineering sectors.

In traditional mentorship, there will be a mentor and a mentee. For mentors, we are looking for professionals (males and females) with 15+ years of experience in the environmental and engineering sector. For mentees, we are looking for female professionals who are working in the environmental and engineering sector.

Peer-to-peer networking will provide opportunities to female professionals in the environmental and engineering sectors to discuss and get support and guidance from fellow peers on challenges and opportunities to advance in their career.

Time Commitment:

Each mentorship program (traditional and peer-to-peer) will be 6 months long. There will be one (1) one hour session per month for the duration of the program for a total of 6 sessions.

If you are interested to become a mentor or a mentee, please click here.

This project has been funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada.
