We are thrilled to announce that you can now submit a nomination for the 2021 awards.
The ECO Impact Awards are currently scheduled to be held in Vancouver in January.
Do you know any hardworking, highly experienced and notable environmental professionals who deserve to be acknowledged for their dedication to the industry? Are you that person? Nominate yourself, a fellow member or an EP employer for one of 4 categories: EPt Impact, EP Impact, EP Auditor Impact, Top EP Employer Impact.

Nominating an EP, EP Auditor or EPt
Approx time to complete: 3-4 hours
Your nomination must include:
- Your relationship to the nominee.
- In 200 words or less, tell us why you are nominating the certified member.
Estimated time: 10 mins. - Submit a summary highlighting the members outstanding overall contribution to the sector and/or a project they led or contributed to over the last 2 years. Detail how they meet the criteria for the Impact Award (max 8 pages).
Estimated time: 1.5-2 hours - Comment on both the members quality of contribution to the environmental sector and the impact of their contribution using the relevant sections in the nomination form.
Estimated time: 1 hour - Complete a summary of the members transferable skills and attributes (specific examples are helpful, but not required).
Estimated time: 1 hour - Member headshot and bio.
Self-Nomination For EP, EP Auditor or EPt
Approx time to complete: 3-4 hours
Your nomination must include:
- In 200 words or less, tell us why you are nominating yourself.
Estimated time: 10 mins. - Submit a summary of your outstanding overall contribution to the sector and/or a project you have led or largely contributed to over the last 2 years. Detail how you meet the criteria for the Impact Award (max 8 pages).
Estimated time: 1.5-2 hours - Highlight your quality and impact of contribution to the environmental sector using the relevant sections in the nomination form.
Estimated time: 1 hour - You are required to ask 2 individuals to support your nomination by completing the Nomination Support form, an assessment of your transferable skills and personal attributes. Thes forms can be submitted with your nomination package or e-mailed in separately.
Estimated time: 1 hour - Headshot and bio.
Nomination for Top EP Employer EP
Approx time to complete: 5-6 hours
Your nomination must include:
- Tell us about the organization and why they are a good fit in 200 words or less
Estimated time: 10 mins. - Submit a summary of the organization’s overall contribution to the sector and/or a project throughout the last 2 years. The submission summary must include details about the organization’s environmental impact, initiatives, HR policies, and how the organization motivates and challenges their employees to achieve excellence (max 8 pages).
Estimated time: 3 hours - Highlight the organization’s quality and impact of contribution to the environmental sector using the relevant sections in the nomination form.
Estimated time: 2-2.5 hours - You are required to ask 2 individuals (client, current/former staff) to support your nomination by completing the Nomination Support form, an assessment of the organization’s attributes related to professional ethics, learning/staff development, communication and leadership. Forms can be submitted with your nomination package or e-mailed in separately.
Estimated time: 1 hour - Provide a list of the EP/EP Auditor/EPt members your organization employs. If you need help putting this list together, e-mail EP@eco.ca and the information can be sent to you.
- Submit the organization’s mission and vision statements, biography and logo.
